چکیده
Yukawa-type interactions between heavy Dirac fermions and a scalar field are common ingredient in various extensions of the Standard Model. Despite that, non-relativistic limit Yukawa theory has not yet been studied full generality rigorous model-independent way. In this paper we intend to fill gap by initiating series investigations that make use modern effective (EFT) techniques. particular, aim at constructing suitable potential EFTs (denoted as NRY pNRY respectively) close analogy well known phenomenologically successful QCD (NRQCD) (pNRQCD). The phenomenological motivation for our study lies possibility explain existing cosmological observations introducing fermionic dark matter particles interact with each other exchanging light mediator. A systematic compelling scenario framework (NREFTs) constitutes main novelty approach compared studies.

Effective Field Theory and Matching in Non-Relativistic Gauge Theories
The effective Lagrangian and power counting rules for non-relativistic gauge theories are derived via a systematic expansion in the large c limit. It is shown that the 1/c expansion leads to an effective field theory which incorporates a multipole expansion. Within this theory there is no need for heuristic arguments to determine the scalings of operators. After eliminating c from the lowest or...
متن کاملIndex for Non-relativistic Superconformal Field Theories
We study the highest-weight representation ofN = 2 supersymmetric Schrödinger algebra which appears in non-relativistic superconformal field theories in (1+2) dimension. We define the index for the non-relativistic superconformal field theories and study its properties. As a concrete example, we compute the index for the nonrelativistic limit of N = 6 superconformal Chern-Simons-matter theory r...

The applications of the extensions of relativistic mean field (RMF) theory to the rotating frame, such as cranked relativistic mean field (CRMF) theory and cranked relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov (CRHB) theory, for the description of superdeformed bands in the A ∼ 60, 140 − 150 and 190 mass regions are overviewed and compared briefly with the results obtained in non-relativistic mean field theo...
متن کاملA Short Introduction to Non - Relativistic Effective Field Theories
I discuss effective field theories for heavy bound systems, particularly bound systems involving two heavy quarks. The emphasis is on the relevant concepts and on interesting physical applications and results. 1 NON-RELATIVISTIC BOUND SYSTEMS In nature there are many particle bound systems for which the relative velocity v of the particle in the system is small. Typical examples in the domain o...
متن کاملPoincaré invariance constraints on non-relativistic effective field theories
The heavy quark effective field theory (HQET) is the effective field theory of QCD suitable for describing heavy-light mesons [1]. The heavyquark four momentum can be split into a large and a small component: p = mv + k, where m is the heavy quark mass, v a unit vector and k a residual momentum of the order of ΛQCD. The large and small component fields ψ v are defined in terms of the heavy-quar...
